Sample Architect Contract Document

Project Description:

The project involves architectural design and consultation services for the property located at 789 Main Street, New York, NY 10003, or other designated site as outlined herein.

Scope of Work:

The architect shall provide conceptual designs, detailed drawings, permit assistance, and construction administration as specified in the project scope attached hereto.

Compensation:

The client agrees to pay the architect a fee of 8% of the total construction cost, payable according to the milestones set forth in this agreement.

Architect Responsibilities:

The architect commits to delivering services competently, in accordance with professional standards, and in a timely manner, maintaining communication with the client throughout the project.

Governing Law:

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be resolved via arbitration in New York County.

Additional Terms:

• The client shall provide necessary access and information for project execution.
• This contract may only be modified through written amendments signed by both parties.
