Art Gallery Contract Sample
Parties Involved:
Gallery: XYZ Art Gallery Inc.

Artwork Description:
The artwork involved in this agreement is titled “Sunrise Over Manhattan,” created by the artist, located at XYZ Art Gallery, or other works as specified in subsequent negotiations.
Terms of Exhibition and Sale:
The gallery shall exhibit the artwork for a period of three months, with a commission of 50% of the sale price payable to the gallery upon sale.
Gallery Responsibilities:
The gallery commits to marketing, promoting, and displaying the artwork with professional standards, and handling sales transactions diligently.
Governing Law:
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. Disputes shall be resolved within the courts of New York County.
Additional Provisions:
- The artist grants the gallery the right to reproduce images of the artwork for promotional purposes.
- This agreement may only be amended in writing signed by both parties.
