Sample Fixed Term Employment Contract (US)
Parties Involved:
Employer: Acme Corporation
Address: 123 Business Ave, New York, NY 10001
Employee: Jane Doe

Position and Term of Employment:
The Employee shall hold the position of Software Developer, starting on March 1, 2024, with an employment term ending on February 29, 2025, unless renewed or terminated earlier as per this agreement.
Compensation:
The Employee shall receive a salary of $80,000 annually, payable in accordance with the Employer’s regular payroll schedule.
Employee Responsibilities:
The Employee agrees to perform duties consistent with their position, adhere to company policies, and fulfill all reasonable responsibilities assigned during the term of employment.
Termination:
Either party may terminate this agreement with at least 30 days written notice. Early termination terms and severance provisions are detailed herein or in applicable laws.
