Employment Contract Sample (US)

Parties Involved:

Employer: XYZ Corporation
Address: 123 Business Rd., New York, NY 10001

Employee: Jane Doe
Address: 456 Maple Street, New York, NY 10002

Position and Duties:

The Employee agrees to serve as Senior Software Engineer, responsible for development and maintenance of company software applications, reporting to the CTO.

Compensation:

The Employer shall pay the Employee an annual salary of $100,000, payable in bi-weekly installments, subject to applicable taxes and deductions.

Work Schedule:

The Employee’s standard workweek shall be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime as required.

Employment Terms:

This employment is at-will, meaning either party may terminate the agreement at any time with or without cause, with two weeks’ written notice.

Benefits:

The Employee shall be eligible for health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan as per company policies.

Governing Law:

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be addressed within New York courts.

Additional Provisions:

• The Employee agrees to comply with all company policies and confidentiality agreements.
